Each November 19th the Fellowship,in association with the National Park Service, Gettysburg College, and the Gettysburg Foundation, commemorates the dedication of the National Cemetery and the Gettysburg Address in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Tentative Schedule for November 19, 2012:

 9:30 a.m. Wreath Laying Ceremony, Soldiers' National Monument
10:00 a.m. Dedication Day Ceremony, Rostrum, Soldiers' National Cemetery            
  • Program is free and open to the general public.
  • Limited seating, so bring your lawn chairs.
  • Dress warm (boots, gloves, hats, earmuffs, warm coat) - it gets windy and chilly!
  • Can't attend?  Watch the live stream:  Dedication Day Live
  • Gold Line Shuttle will run on the 19th!  Visit Ride the Trolley for schedule.  Free service!

12:00 noon   Buffet Luncheon (fee involved/advance reservation needed)
Keynote Speaker:  Joe Fornieri

Fornieri is an expert on political ideology of Abraham Lincoln and author of "Abraham Lincoln's Political Faith" (Northern Illinois University Press).  Fornieri, Professor of Political Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology, is currently at work on a new Lincoln book to be published in 2013.
